Al Arabiya claims: Final Iran-US agreement within hours, next round of talks after Hajj
The Al Arabiya news network has claimed that a final agreement between Iran and the United States is likely to be "announced within the next few hours."

Tehran - BORNA - Al Arabiya reported late Wednesday evening: "Serious efforts are currently underway to finalize the draft agreement between Iran and the United States."

Al Arabiya further claimed: "The Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan may travel to Iran tomorrow, Thursday, to announce that the final draft of the agreement has been completed."

The media outlet also reported: "The next round of negotiations will be held in Islamabad after the Hajj season in late May."

It is worth noting that Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi traveled to Tehran for the second time on Wednesday morning. This comes after his two-day visit to Tehran on Saturday, during which he presented the Iranian side with the U.S. side's amended proposals regarding the war-termination negotiations.

Those proposals were reviewed by Iran and communicated back to the American side. It appears that the U.S. response was reviewed by Iranian officials during the Pakistani interior minister's second trip to Iran, and will soon be handed over to the American side for their feedback.

Following the collapse of the first round of negotiations, the current Iran-US talks are being conducted through the exchange of messages and texts involving Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
