Pakistani Interior Minister to Visit Tehran Today
According to media sources, Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, will travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran within the coming hours.

Tehran - BORNA - According to media reports on Saturday, the Pakistani Interior Minister met twice with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni, on Thursday and Friday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Interior Ministers' meeting in Kyrgyzstan.

Media sources close to the Pakistani Interior Minister's team stated that Naqvi returned to Lahore following the conclusion of his visit to Kyrgyzstan and is scheduled to depart from Lahore for Tehran today.

The Azerbaijani and Pakistani media outlets note that the Pakistani Interior Minister previously conducted an official visit to Tehran in April alongside his country's Army Chief. He subsequently made two other official visits to the Islamic Republic of Iran in late May and early June.

During his two recent visits to Tehran, Naqvi held meetings with President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, and his counterpart Eskandar Momeni.
