Nokhodi Wins Gold in Mongolia Tournament, Rahmani Takes Bronze

Tehran - BORNA - In the continuation of the Mongolia Freestyle Wrestling Ranking Tournament, Mohammad Nokhodi competed in the 86 kg category. In the first round, he defeated Mongolia's Byambadorj Bat-Erdene 10-0. In the second round, he defeated Aryan from India 10-0 to advance to the semifinals. In this stage, Nokhodi defeated Malik Shavaev from Kyrgyzstan with a score of 8-5 to reach the final. In the final match, the 2024 Olympic gold medalist Magomed Ramazanov from Bulgaria did not appear on the mat, awarding Mohammad Nokhodi the gold medal.

In the 92 kg category, Abolfazl Rahmani received a bye in the first round. In the second round, he was defeated 4-4 (on criteria) by Azamat Dauletbekov, a world bronze medalist from Kazakhstan.
