Pakistani Interior Minister Meets with Araghchi
The Minister of Interior of Pakistan met and held talks with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Tehran - BORNA - Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, who has traveled to Iran in continuation of Islamabad's ongoing diplomatic efforts to facilitate an agreement between Tehran and Washington, met and consulted with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Sunday morning.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the report, the Pakistani official arrived in Tehran yesterday and met with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni.

Following his meeting with the Iranian Interior Minister, Naqvi stated: "Iran and Pakistan share fraternal relations, and when a problem arises for one brother, the other brother feels it too. We hope these crises will end soon through the efforts of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan."

The Pakistani Interior Minister went on to express his appreciation to Ghalibaf, Momeni, and Araghchi, adding: "We hope to bring this matter to a successful conclusion."

Concluding his remarks, Naqvi referred to the critical message he traveled to Iran to deliver, stating: "I am here to deliver a special letter from Field Marshal General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the current situation to Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. I believe this message is highly important. I hope everything goes well and concludes successfully."
