Tehran - BORNA - The full text of the statement by the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics on the first anniversary of the Second Imposed War is as follows:
"In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
June 13, 2025 (23 Khordad 1404) marks the beginning of the Iranian nation's Holy Defense against the joint aggression of the Zionist regime and the criminal United States. This invasion was launched with the aim of partitioning the country and striking at the independence, security, and existence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at a time when the parties were on the path of diplomacy and negotiation. However, it once again revealed the deceitful, pledge-breaking, and criminal nature of the enemies of the Iranian nation.
In this war, several high-ranking commanders of the Armed Forces, scientists, elites, and a group of innocent children, women, and civilians were martyred. Yet, despite these atrocities, the enemy failed to achieve its goals, and the 12-day Holy Defense turned into an arena of national authority, cohesion among the Armed Forces, solidarity of the Iranian nation, and the defeat of the enemy's calculations. This great epic tore away the veil of hypocrisy from the face of the Zionist regime and its supporters, proving and displaying the will of the Iranian nation to the entire world.
The experience of the 12-day war and the continuation of hostilities in the Ramadan War have made the importance of expanding defensive power, military self-sufficiency, and strengthening deterrence clearer than ever before. Utilizing the capacity of the country's scientists, specialists, and defense industrialists, the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics has powerfully continued its mission to support the Armed Forces and develop defensive capabilities, and it will not hesitate for a single moment in equipping the Armed Forces with advanced technologies and systems.
The conscious and widespread role played by the people on the social front of the war—especially their heroic presence for over 100 nights in renewing allegiance to the Leadership, supporting the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the Armed Forces, and seeking blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam and all the Martyrs of Authority—has been a great asset for the country and one of the most critical factors behind the enemies' failure to realize their objectives.
While honoring and commemorating the high status of the martyrs of the 12-day Holy Defense and the Ramadan Holy Defense—particularly the martyrs of the Ministry of Defense, the martyred Defense Minister, and the former martyred ministers—the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics emphasizes that the path of honor, progress, and authority of Islamic Iran will continue with full force. The children of the nation in the country's defense industry will continue to take steps with all their might to support the Armed Forces and elevate the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
