Pezeshkian: Iran-US understanding to be signed on Friday

Tehran - BORNA - Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking on the sidelines of the National "Synergistic Governance" Conference on Monday, in response to a question about the understanding reached between Iran and the United States to end the war, said: "This understanding was reached yesterday. It has been approved with necessary coordination. The signing of this understanding is set to take place on Friday."

Referring to the delegation of authority to provincial governors, he continued: "The delegation of authority to governors had already been done. The events that took place and the actions that were carried out were due to the authorities they had. Why did no one in the country protest the administration of affairs? Because governors and county officials worked. There were problems everywhere, but no problem arose in the country's administrative system."

The President emphasized that the enemy thought the country would fall apart with the start of the war, stating: "Did that happen? The answer is no, and this goes back to the management of governors and county officials."
