The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Sheikh Naim Qassem, addressed an official letter to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, expressing deep gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its decisive role in deterring US-Israeli aggression and protecting the Lebanese nation.

Tehran - BORNA -  The head of the Lebanese resistance movement conveyed his appreciation to Ghalibaf in his capacity as the chief negotiator of the Iranian diplomatic team. In the letter, Sheikh Naim Qassem wrote that Ghalibaf and his team successfully transformed the sole and most effective flame of hope in deterring the Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon into a reality that proved to the world that Iran is the ultimate supporter of justice, the resistance, and the oppressed. The Hezbollah leader noted that if other nations had followed Iran's path, the United States and Israel would never have become so insolent, and the Zionist occupation would not have persisted on the land of Palestine and Jerusalem.

The Secretary-General went on to state that Iran has consistently provided the resistance with the capabilities and strength to liberate its territory, heal the wounds of its society, and support its people. He pointed out that Iran is now actively shedding blood, countering the Zionist regime by launching strikes against it in direct response to its aggression against the southern suburb of Beirut (Dahieh), and bearing the consequences of a conflict that demands immense sacrifices. Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized with a loud voice that the Islamic Republic of Iran stands as a true symbol of dignity and honor.

Writing on behalf of Hezbollah, its Islamic Resistance, and the countless citizens of Lebanon who wished to convey their profound appreciation through his office, Sheikh Naim Qassem extended his heartfelt thanks to Ghalibaf, as the senior official in charge of the negotiations, and to the members of his diplomatic team, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He emphasized that this gratitude is offered on behalf of all the martyrs—led by the master of the nation's martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah—as well as the wounded and the prisoners.

The Hezbollah chief additionally requested Ghalibaf to convey the movement's highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, for his steadfast care and attention. He noted that the new Leader's guidance has successfully revitalized the blessings and historic support of the late martyred Imam Khamenei within the hearts of the resistance fighters.

In concluding his letter, Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed his deep appreciation to President Masoud Pezeshkian for his enduring support of the resistance. He further extended his gratitude to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), describing it as a luminous force whose strength and solidity have fundamentally altered regional equations. The Hezbollah leader also thanked the Iranian Army, the nation's elites, and all official and public institutions of the Iranian people for their unwavering solidarity.
