China Urges Global Community to Provide Greater Support for US-Iran Negotiations

Tehran - BORNA - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a comprehensive telephone consultation on Tuesday to review the latest regional diplomatic breakthroughs.

During the call, the Pakistani Foreign Minister noted that achieving a lasting peace in the Middle East still requires continuous and dedicated efforts from all regional and international parties involved.

As reported by Al Mayadeen, the Chinese Foreign Minister observed during the discussion that the upcoming second phase of the technical negotiations is expected to be considerably tougher and more complex than the initial stage.

Wang Yi explicitly stated that Beijing firmly believes there is absolutely no room for retreat from the negotiating table, emphasizing that the resumption or use of military force is completely unacceptable under any circumstances.

The chief Chinese diplomat concluded by stressing that the global community must step up and offer greater collective support to sustain the momentum of the US-Iran diplomatic talks.
