Iran's Ahmadkohani Clinches Bronze at Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships
Iranian artistic gymnast Mahdi Ahmadkohani put on a stellar performance to secure a bronze medal in the rings final at the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships, marking a triumphant return to the international arena.
Tehran - BORNA - Ahmadkohani executed a precise routine to earn a score of 14.1, locking in the third-place podium finish. China’s Yang Hanan and Zhang Paheng claimed the gold and silver medals, respectively. The podium finish holds significant weight for Ahmadkohani, who successfully captured the bronze following a challenging two-year forced absence from competitive gymnastics.
Earlier in the day, Iran's Pouria Amanifard competed in the junior rings final, concluding his run in sixth place.
