Iran-US Negotiations to Begin at 4:00 PM Local Time
The negotiations between Iran and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, will begin on Sunday afternoon at the "Bürgenstock" Hotel.

Tehran - BORNA -  The negotiations between Iran and the US, in the presence of officials from Qatar and Pakistan as mediators of these talks, will be held in Switzerland on Sunday afternoon.

According to the scheduled plan, these negotiations will take place at 4:00 PM local time at the "Bürgenstock" Hotel on the outskirts of Zurich.

The head of Iran's negotiating delegation in these talks will be Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and the head of the US negotiating delegation is JD Vance.

Furthermore, Asim Munir, the Pakistan Army Chief, Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and a delegation from Qatar will be present in these negotiations.

Yesterday, Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that this trip is being carried out in line with following up on the commitments of the United States within the framework of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding regarding the realization of a ceasefire in Lebanon and stopping the aggressions of the Israeli regime against this country.

Araghchi Meets with Swiss Foreign Minister

Moreover, in the first meeting on Sunday morning, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Switzerland met and held talks with each other.

Switzerland has a long history of holding and hosting Iran's nuclear negotiations, especially between 2013 and 2015. Although Pakistan is the main mediator of the talks between Iran and the US, it was decided by the agreement of both sides that this round of negotiations, which takes place after the signing of the war termination understanding by the presidents of the two countries, will be held at the Bürgenstock Hotel on the outskirts of Zurich.

It is worth mentioning that the Iranian negotiating delegation, led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, arrived in Zurich early Sunday morning, welcomed by Swiss officials and members of our country's embassy in Bern.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the head of the negotiating delegation, is accompanied on this trip by Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Ali Bagheri, the Deputy for International Affairs of the Supreme National Security Council Secretariat, Abdolnaser Hemmati, the Governor of the Central Bank, Hamid Bourd, the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, as well as Kazem Gharibabadi and Esmaeil Baghaei, the Deputy Foreign Ministers.
