Pakistan Defense Minister: Iran-US agreement could lead to Netanyahu's arrest

Tehran - BORNA - Khawaja Asif, Pakistan's Defense Minister, said that Israel is attempting to sabotage the peace agreement between the United States and Iran – an agreement that would mean the political end of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister, and possibly his arrest.

Pakistan's Defense Minister noted that Netanyahu has committed genocide in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Lebanon, and that Israel's Western allies are complicit in these crimes.

Recently, after Donald Trump asked Pakistan to join the Abraham Accords, Khawaja Asif stated that Islamabad would not support any agreement that contradicts the country's "basic ideologies."

Earlier, in an interview with Pakistan's Sama TV, Asif was asked about the possibility of Pakistan joining the Abraham Accords following reported pressure from Donald Trump, and he clearly rejected the idea.

Asif said in the media interview: "Personally, I do not think we should join any pact that contradicts our basic ideologies."

Questioning the credibility of engaging with the Zionist regime, Pakistan's Defense Minister added: "How will you interact with those whose word cannot be trusted even for a single day?"

He also reiterated Islamabad's longstanding position on the matter, saying: "We have a very clear position that this is not acceptable to us."

Asif also referred to Pakistan's passport policy regarding the Zionist regime, emphasizing the country's refusal to recognize the regime.

He said: "We are the only country whose passports do not even mention the name of Israel."
