Pezeshkian arrives in Pakistan

Tehran - BORNA - Masoud Pezeshkian, who traveled to Pakistan today at the head of a high-ranking delegation, was welcomed upon arrival by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

During this visit, Pezeshkian will hold separate meetings with senior Pakistani officials to discuss the most important issues of mutual interest.

Reviewing the latest developments and the recent negotiation process, as well as ways to deepen and expand bilateral cooperation in political, economic, commercial, cultural, and regional fields, will be among the key topics of discussion between the Iranian President and Pakistani officials.

This visit is part of the policy of developing and strengthening relations with neighboring countries and aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad. The President is accompanied by the Ministers of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Roads and Urban Development, and Agricultural Jihad.

Pezeshkian traveled to Pakistan on the special flight "Minab 168" to honor the memory of the martyrs of the recent imposed war, particularly the 168 student martyrs of the Minab school who were killed in the US and Zionist regime's war crime.
