The head of the Ideological-Political Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of our country stated that if the United States acts logically, Iran will remain committed to it, however, if they do not, Iran's hand remains on the trigger, and any violation will be met with a harsh, regrettable slap.

Tehran - BORNA - Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ziaeddin Aghajanpour, head of the Ideological-Political Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, addressed the 13th International Conference on US Human Rights from the Perspective of the Martyred Leader on Thursday morning at the Eyvan-e Shams Hall. Describing the intensity of the attacks and crimes committed by the US and the Zionist regime during the 40-day war, he remarked: "In Islamic tradition, when a deceased person is placed inside the grave, their shoulder is gently shaken during the recitation of the Talqin (final prayers). Yet, during the recent war, I performed prayers and recited Talqin over bodies that possessed neither shoulders nor heads. Some bodies were so severely mutilated that they were unrecognizable and could only be identified through medical testing."

Stating that "the clenched fist of the martyred leader at the moment of martyrdom" serves as a symbol of steadfastness and rising up, he asked: "The question remains, what did the Yazidis of our time want from the followers of Hussein that drove them to commit such heinous atrocities?"

The Defense Ministry official continued: "They demanded the surrender of Iran, its leadership, and its people. However, just as Imam Hussein raised the cry of 'Heyhat minna az-zillah' (Far be it from us to accept humiliation) and stated he would never pledge allegiance to the likes of Yazid, the Iranian nation will never, under any circumstances, submit to the illegitimate demands of the global arrogance. Following the path of Imam Hussein and our martyred leader, we too cry out 'Heyhat minna az-zillah'."

Aghajanpour emphasized that to avoid surrender, a nation must become strong, adding: "I had the privilege of meeting with our martyred leader and Armed Forces commanders just one day prior to the 12-day war. During that meeting, the martyred leader instructed us to become as strong as possible, maintain defense capabilities, generate strategic defense power, and ensure our hands are fully capable."

He noted: "It is absolute naivety to believe that if we display leniency and back down, the enemy will leave us alone. The adversaries who believed they could dismantle Iran within a week and drive it toward collapse were confronted by our defensive authority on the battlefield and an unprecedented, historical mobilization of the public on the streets. This reality forced the enemy to actively request a ceasefire."

The Defense Ministry official concluded: "Naturally, we place no trust in their covenants or treaties. Consequently, while our hands remain firmly on the trigger, we are also open to logic. The logic of Islam and the Islamic Republic is encapsulated in the Quranic verse: 'Deal not unjustly, and you shall not be dealt with unjustly.' We oppress no nation, nor do we submit to oppression. Therefore, if they act with logic, we will remain committed to it. But if they do not, our hand is on the trigger, and we will deliver a harsh, regrettable slap to them."
