A member of Yemen's Ansarullah political bureau described the martyred leader, Imam Khamenei, as a symbol of resistance in the hearts of Iranians and the free, stating that he transformed Iran from a dependent country into a major regional power and created an unparalleled model of Islamic civilization in the modern era.

Tehran - BORNA - Fadel al-Sharqi, a member of Yemen's Ansarullah political bureau, stated: "Ayatollah Khamenei was a political leader, a religious symbol, a spiritual authority, and an exceptional leader. He transformed Iran from a dependent country into a major regional power and created an unparalleled model of Islamic civilization in the modern era. He was also an eloquent orator, an experienced revolutionary, and a compelling voice. He steered Iran's ship with stability and oversaw Operation Fath Khorramshahr in 1982 – that great victory which turned the page on defeat and demonstrated Iran's capability to endure and strike."

Al-Sharqi said: "Imam Khamenei is a symbol of resistance in the hearts of Iranians and the free. He guided Iran toward the ranks of advanced and civilized nations and achieved great accomplishments that made it a major country that cannot be underestimated in many fields, especially military and security."

According to Al-Masirah, al-Sharqi added: "Hezbollah, under the leadership of this great martyr, was transformed from a purely local group into the strongest military and political force in Lebanon and the region, and the spearhead of confronting Israeli occupation."

He added: "Imam Khamenei led jihad and resistance until full liberation in June 2000. During his era, Iran opened its arms to Palestinian resistance movements, providing them with weapons, money, and training, empowering them to launch liberation battles against the Israeli occupation. The Al-Aqsa Storm operation, which shattered the myth of the 'invincible' Israeli army, was the fruit of this support, which continued for decades under the leadership of Imam Khamenei."
