Pezeshkian Vows Diplomatic Resistance, Warns Against Undermining National Unity

He asserted that industrial producers acted as frontline defenders during recent economic pressures, preventing widespread shortages and forcing foreign adversaries to abandon military confrontation in favor of diplomatic engagement.
Addressing business leaders and industrialists, Pezeshkian stated that foreign adversaries had imposed an all-out war aimed at inflicting internal pressure and social collapse. However, he emphasized that the endurance of domestic producers thwarted these plans, forcing major powers to abandon military confrontation in favor of dialogue and engagement.
The Iranian president stressed that the administration is working around the clock to address the rightful demands of economic actors and business owners. He credited manufacturers for fighting on the economic frontline, preventing widespread shortages and famine despite enemy strikes on vital energy infrastructure that created electricity deficits. He added that public cooperation and inter-agency coordination successfully managed electricity consumption, neutralizing enemy plots to cause a total collapse.
Directly addressing domestic criticism regarding talks with the US, Pezeshkian revealed that although state television selectively broadcasted only portions of the late Supreme Leader's statements regarding non-negotiation, the late leader had explicitly emphasized in private meetings the necessity of ending the state of "neither war nor peace." Guided by these directives and relying on dignity, wisdom, and national interest, the government initiated negotiations, with Pezeshkian affirming that the diplomatic apparatus will never compromise on the rights of the Iranian people.
Pezeshkian noted that all current actions remain structured around the guidance of the Supreme Leader through increased communication and access.
