Iran executes two spies who aided Israel in 12-day and 40-day wars

Tehran - BORNA - Omid Behzad and Pouria Safvat were executed on Monday morning after their sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court.

According to a judiciary statement, the two had sent coordinates, images, and information on military and security centers to Mossad officers and affiliated communication channels, assisting the enemy in achieving its objectives during the Ramadan War and the 12-day war.

Behzad had been in direct contact with an administrator of a Telegram channel linked to the Zionist regime, who publicly requested coordinates of sensitive sites. He used location-finding software such as Google Maps to pinpoint and send coordinates. The channel administrator, a Mossad officer, informed Behzad that the coordinates were verified and prioritized in the IDF's target bank before being sent to Mossad through secure channels.

Safvat, meanwhile, sent coordinates and images to the International satellite network, which had been used for intelligence and media purposes. Some locations he identified were later bombed. He had also filmed and sent images of defense systems from rooftops during the 12-day war.

Both men were arrested by IRGC intelligence operatives. According to court documents, they had demonstrated clear intent in their cooperation with Mossad during wartime. Their sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court and carried out after all legal procedures were completed.
