Iranian, Pakistani Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral ties, Strait of Hormuz in phone call
Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday afternoon.
Tehran - BORNA - During the phone call, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations as well as regional developments.
The Iranian Foreign Minister outlined the latest status of bilateral talks between Iran and Oman regarding the determination of an appropriate route for the safe transit of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran's resolve to continue this process.
During the conversation, the Pakistani Foreign Minister also detailed his country's perspective regarding the trilateral defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
