Iran's ambassador to Pakistan meets with Pakistani Foreign Minister
Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Iranian Ambassador to Islamabad Reza Amiri Moghaddam on Wednesday to review bilateral mechanisms and regional developments.
Tehran - BORNA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan announced in a post on X that the Iranian ambassador briefed the Pakistani foreign minister on the progress of bilateral institutional mechanisms following recent high-level reciprocal visits between the two nations.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy represent the only effective means to address outstanding issues and achieve sustainable peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
The Pakistani foreign minister reaffirmed Islamabad's commitment to further deepening engagement with Iran across key priority areas.
According to the official statement, both sides also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.
