Iranian 3x3 basketball player Zahra Moghaddasi suffered a knee injury during the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League Asia competition, ruling her out for the remainder of the tournament.

Tehran - BORNA -  Moghaddasi sustained the injury during tournament play and will be unable to rejoin the national team for their remaining matches.

Moghaddasi is scheduled to return to Iran following the conclusion of the team's campaign, where she will undergo MRI scans to evaluate the extent and severity of the knee damage.

Following her injury, the Iranian U23 women's 3x3 basketball squad—comprising Farnaz Khodamoradi, Mahla Abedi, Shamim Noori, and Mahsa Korani—will proceed with four players for their Day 4 matchups against China and Kazakhstan.

The continental tournament began on Monday, August 10, in Cangzhou, China, and will run through August 16, with final team standings determined by cumulative points accumulated across the event.
