Ghalibaf details how Trump withdrew Hormuz demand from the MoU

He continued: "The result of our discussion was that they lifted the siege that same night, not 30 days after the memorandum — that very night. Trump tweeted that we are lifting it tonight, and beneath it he wrote, 'Of course, the Iranians will also reopen the Strait of Hormuz.' When I saw that, I stopped it and said we have no such agreement. I told the mediators that if this tweet is not removed immediately, we will strike — with the same intensity that I had described."

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament emphasized: "Please go and look at the history — 58 minutes later, Trump removed the second part and wrote that the strait will be reopened within the framework of the memorandum starting Saturday. This is not the dignity of Islam; this is what negotiation means — a struggle."
