Iran’s military chief warns regional states against aiding US forces

Tehran - BORNA - In a post on X, Abdollahi referred to countries on the southern shores of the Persian Gulf that have issued statements saying they would not allow the United States to use their territories against Iran.

“Countries on the southern shores of the Persian Gulf that have issued various statements saying they will not allow the United States to use their territories against Iran should know that nothing escapes our notice,” Abdollahi wrote.

He pointed to the presence of US military aircraft, particularly aerial refueling tankers, at bases across the region.

“It seems unlikely that this number of military aircraft, especially refueling aircraft, could be present at regional bases without the knowledge of the host countries,” he said.

“We warn that any assistance or facilitation provided to the aggressor US military will be considered participation alongside US military forces,” Abdollahi added.
