Pakistan army chief to visit Tehran on Monday
Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir will travel to Tehran on Monday at the head of an official delegation, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.
Tehran - BORNA - Speaking to reporters, Baghaei said the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and continuing Islamabad’s efforts to help promote peace and security in the region.
Munir is scheduled to meet and hold talks with senior Iranian officials during the visit.
