Oman foreign minister to visit Tehran for talks with Araghchi
Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi is scheduled to visit Tehran on Tuesday for talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on bilateral and regional issues, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
Tehran - BORNA - Esmaeil Baghaei announced the visit in remarks to reporters, saying Albusaidi is expected to meet Araghchi during his trip to the Iranian capital.
Baghaei said the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Oman and continuing regular political consultations between the two countries.
He added that the consultations between Iran and Oman, as the two states bordering the Strait of Hormuz, are also intended to help promote peace and security in the region.
