Chinese President at SCO Summit: Nations Must Reject Interference and ‘Law of the Jungle’

Tehran - BORNA - Addressing the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek, Xi stated that Beijing is prepared to deepen coordination with all SCO member states to resolve regional and international crises, including those in Ukraine, the Middle East, and Afghanistan.

"We must reject double standards, interference in the affairs of other nations, and the law of the jungle," Xi said, according to RIA Novosti. "Instead of confrontation, we call for dialogue and adherence to the rule of law. We advocate for the establishment of a fair, reasonable, and multipolar world order."

Highlighting the need to preserve regional stability, the Chinese president urged member nations to foster an environment of global security and firmly prevent external forces from meddling in internal affairs.

Xi described the Eurasian security bloc as a "new type of regional cooperation organization spanning the largest geographical area, representing the largest population, and possessing vast developmental potential in the world."
