Yemeni Forces Launch Mass Missile, Drone Strikes on Saudi Aramco Sites and Air Base
Tehran - BORNA - The retaliatory strikes hit key economic and military installations, including Aramco infrastructure across Abha, Najran, the Economic City, and Jizan, alongside the Khamis Mushait Air Base. According to the statement, the weapons hit their targets with high precision, causing significant damage.
Saree stated that the operation came in direct response to three days of intense Saudi aerial bombardment across Ma'rib, Al-Bayda, Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, and Al-Jawf provinces. He specifically highlighted a devastating strike on the central prison in Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf, which resulted in numerous casualties among prisoners and visiting families, including women and children.
Accusing Riyadh of escalating military actions in service of US and Israeli objectives, the spokesperson held Saudi Arabia fully responsible for the conflict's escalation. Saree warned that continued attacks against Yemen would draw "harsher and broader" responses, reiterating that forces will enforce a "siege-for-siege" policy until all aggressions end and the blockade on Yemen is fully lifted.
