IRGC Downs Advanced MQ-1 Drone in Western Strait of Hormuz
The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the interception and destruction of an advanced MQ-1 drone in the skies over the western Strait of Hormuz.
Tehran - BORNA - A statement issued by the IRGC Public Relations read: "Early this morning, an advanced MQ-1 drone was intercepted and destroyed by a modern air defense system of the IRGC Aerospace Force, operating under the control of the country's integrated air defense network, in the skies over the western Strait of Hormuz."
