Government spokeswoman: US proposal received, Araghchi tells cabinet

 Tehran - BORNA - In a post on X, Mohajerani wrote: "At today's cabinet meeting, the foreign minister's report on his trip to New York and the series of meetings and talks held was presented, including the presentation of Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz through mediators in America."

She added: "Despite the enemy's efforts to isolate Iran, the Iranian delegation was at the center of attention and meetings, and numerous meetings were held with European countries, Persian Gulf states and other countries. Diplomatic action to open a path in the foreign policy sphere is being pursued seriously."

Mohajerani said Araghchi also informed the cabinet of the receipt of the US proposal.
