'Azerbaijani Opera Night' to take stage at Tehran's Milad Tower

Tehran - BORNA - The upcoming performance is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Conductor Vahid Alipour will lead the Alnam Orchestra, with Yashar Ahmadi performing as the lead vocalist. The "Hamsara" choir, directed by Kiana Khajeh, will also accompany the ensemble.

The project features concertmaster Behrad Soukhakian, alongside soloists Mohammad Motlagh (clarinet), Mohammadreza Erfani (kamancheh), and Ali Seyedzadeh (tar). Javad Abrahan serves as the musical arranger.

In its previous performances, the "Azerbaijani Opera Night" has presented audiences with orchestral adaptations of traditional Azerbaijani music, folk pieces, and excerpts from renowned works such as Koroghlu, Arshin Mal Alan, O Olmasin, Bu Olsun, and Leyli and Majnun.
