Tehran - BORNA - In a message published on the government's official information portal, Pezeshkian emphasized that the athletes' success, particularly under the current difficult circumstances, demonstrates the profound capacity of sports to inspire hope, strengthen national solidarity, and drive the country's progress.

"The success of our country's sports delegation at the Nagoya Asian Games, participating under the name 'Minab Angels,' is a valuable manifestation of the resolve, hope, and capability of this land's youth, and a clear sign of Iran's sporting potential," the president wrote.

"They recorded the best performance in the history of our country's women's sports at the Asian Games, proving once again that whenever the opportunity for growth and worthy participation is provided, they can achieve glory at the highest Asian and global levels," Pezeshkian stated.

Underscoring that sports extend far beyond the field of competition, he described it as an arena for responsibility and national unity. The president called for sustainable planning, serious attention to young talents, enhanced infrastructure, and continued support for athletes to further nurture the nation's sporting capacity.

Concluding his message, Pezeshkian expressed his gratitude to the medalists, their families, coaches, and technical staff, wishing the youth increasing brilliance in future global arenas.
