Any new war against Iran will engulf everyone: Maj. Gen. Abdollahi
Tehran - BORNA - In a comprehensive written statement, Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi, who also commands the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, emphasized that the Iranian military is currently stronger and more prepared than ever to counter threats at any level.
He noted that the oppressive campaigns led by Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran have definitively failed, leaving their respective leaders entangled in severe domestic and international crises. Pointing to recent intelligence and rhetoric suggesting a potential new offensive under the "big lie" of Iran pursuing nuclear weapons, Abdollahi firmly dismissed the narrative of a weakened Iran and outlined the country's unyielding defensive posture, rooted in its millennia-old civilization of resisting oppression.
Reflecting on recent regional escalations, the top commander stated that the "Zionist criminal gang," acting upon severe miscalculations and with the backing of the US, initiated the "12-day war" and the "Ramadan war" under the illusion of facing a vulnerable opponent.
He noted that within days of these conflicts, the effective and devastating strikes delivered by the Iranian armed forces forced the opposing side into a state of desperation, prompting them to seek a cessation of hostilities. Abdollahi emphasized that these past confrontations not only failed to bring security to the occupied territories but further exposed the deep vulnerabilities and corruption of the regime's leadership. He asserted that Israel lacks the capacity to confront a powerful Iran, warning that any future miscalculation would invite the "lightning of divine wrath" from Iranian forces and permanently shatter their ambitions.
Directing his remarks toward Washington, Abdollahi clarified that Tehran views competing US political factions as identical in their hostility—likening them to a yellow dog and a jackal—noting that the country's strategic calculus remains entirely independent of American domestic politics and upcoming elections. While mentioning that the American public is eager to use the ballot box to respond to the "lies" of the US president, he issued a stark ultimatum regarding military adventurism. The general stated that if the United States acts against Iranian interests—whether independently or provoked by Israel—before or after the elections, the Iranian armed forces will immediately target American assets with severe, unrestricted force, akin to the operations witnessed during the Ramadan war.
Furthermore, the commander issued a clear caveat to regional states currently hosting American military assets, identifying the US military presence as the primary catalyst for insecurity and economic instability in the region.
He cautioned these host nations that the outbreak of any new war against Iran would inevitably spread its fire to engulf them all. Addressing claims made by the Israeli leadership during recent regional visits regarding the purported militarization of Iran's nuclear program, Abdollahi dismissed the allegations as a delusional tactic meant to instill fear. He criticized the profound hypocrisy of a regime possessing hundreds of nuclear warheads mocking international law while making baseless accusations against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities. In a direct message to international bodies, he warned the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to stop playing the role of a "wolf in sheep's clothing" and to refrain from issuing unsubstantiated statements regarding Iran's safeguarded nuclear facilities, reiterating the nation's steadfast readiness to achieve definitive victory against any aggressor.
