The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement commemorating the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on 15 Mehr (October 7), describing the event as the beginning of the end for Zionism.

Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC called the operation a catalyst that is accelerating the definitive decline of the occupying and racist regime in Al-Quds.

Marking three years since the historic October 7, 2023 operation, the statement noted that the Palestinian resistance and Hamas fighters executed one of the greatest operations in the history of the resistance, dismantling the security architecture of the usurping Zionist regime.

The IRGC emphasized that over the past three years, regional strategic equations have shifted in favor of the Resistance Axis.

Meanwhile, the statement added, the Zionist regime and its main backer, the United States, have plunged into a vortex of structural crises and successive defeats.

Recalling the words of the martyred Leader of the Ummah, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who described the operation as a "future-shaping event," the IRGC highlighted that the operation permanently shattered the myth of the Zionist army's invincibility.

It also cemented the Resistance Front—spanning from Gaza and Lebanon to Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Islamic Iran—as an undeniable, unified strategic reality against the enemy and its American sponsors.

US strategic defeat and consequences of Hormuz Strait closure

Examining the current realities of the battlefield, the IRGC noted that the resistance continues to deliver fatal blows to the Zionist regime and the US through precise and crushing operations.

Detailing the strategic defeat of the United States in the "second and third imposed wars" and the subsequent retaliatory operations, the statement asserted that Washington has failed to achieve its declared objectives.

Despite Washington's full-fledged support for Zionist crimes and repeated threats against the Islamic Republic, it has lost its hollow grandeur before global public opinion, the statement read.

The decisive and regret-inducing response of the Iranian armed forces to these imposed wars proved that the era of cost-free threats has ended, the IRGC warned, adding that any miscalculation or new act of aggression against Islamic Iran will be met with a painful and devastating response.

The IRGC described the economic, political, and international collapse of the Zionist regime, along with the crushing challenges facing the United States, as deeply agonizing for the "criminal gang ruling the White House and Tel Aviv." This was particularly evident following Iran's decisive management and closure of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Despite immense pressure and the martyrdom of high-ranking commanders such as Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Deif, the Resistance Axis stands firm, the statement added.

It noted that the resistance remains in its most united and prepared state, having thwarted Western schemes to weaken and partition Iran.

Renewing its allegiance to the cause of Palestinian liberation, the military force reaffirmed that the path of resistance will continue until the complete liberation of Al-Quds and the annihilation of the usurping regime.

This, the statement concluded, will fulfill the Quranic promise and the vision of the martyred Leader that Palestine will be free from the river to the sea.
