Iran thanks US wrestling federation for cooperation in visa issuance
The Iranian Wrestling Federation has expressed its gratitude to its American counterpart for cooperating in the visa issuance process for Iran's national teams.
Tehran - BORNA - The federation had applied for entry visas for 39 members of the national freestyle and Greco-Roman squads to participate in the Under-23 World Wrestling Championships in the United States, 38 of which have been approved.
The visa for one assistant coach has been delayed due to incomplete documentation and late submission. However, a representative of the Iranian federation in Turkey is actively following up on the matter, expressing hope that the issue will be resolved shortly.
The Iranian federation formally extended its appreciation to both United World Wrestling (UWW) and USA Wrestling for their efforts and cooperation in facilitating the visa process for the Iranian athletes and coaching staff.
