Oman: Hormuz agreement with Iran depends on outcome of Tehran-Washington talks
Oman's Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi said Wednesday that finalizing an agreement with Iran over the Strait of Hormuz depends on the outcome of negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
Tehran - BORNA - Speaking during a visit to Pakistan, al-Busaidi said the completion of the agreement with Iran on the Strait of Hormuz is contingent on the results of US-Iran talks.
According to Al Jazeera, Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar said he had discussed the Bab al-Mandab crisis with the Omani foreign minister, stressing the need for greater efforts to resolve the crisis there.
Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, met with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi earlier Wednesday, ahead of the eighth joint meeting of Pakistani and Omani ministers.
