Araghchi arrives in Baghdad for OIC foreign ministers' meeting
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Saturday morning at the head of a diplomatic delegation to participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Tehran - BORNA - Upon his arrival, the top Iranian diplomat was officially welcomed by Iraq's Deputy Foreign Minister.
In addition to participating in the summit and outlining the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Araghchi is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts attending the event.
The 52nd session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers is being held on Saturday and Sunday in Baghdad under the theme, "Dialogue and Solidarity as Two Essential Pillars for Promoting Sustainable Peace and Progress."
