Iranian, Lebanese foreign ministers meet in Baghdad
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and his Lebanese counterpart, Youssef Raji, met and held talks on Saturday evening on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baghdad.
Tehran - BORNA - During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Tehran and Beirut and held consultations on strengthening ties between the two countries.
Pointing to the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled stance regarding the necessity of preserving Lebanon's territorial integrity and sovereignty, the top Iranian diplomat emphasized Iran's support for Lebanon in defending its sovereignty and national security against the Zionist regime's aggression and expansionism.
