Iran President Emphasizes Regional Security Cooperation in National Day Message to Kazakhstan

Tehran - BORNA -  President Pezeshkian, in a message to Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, while congratulating the arrival of this country's National Day, emphasized that the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan over the past years have always been based on friendship, mutual respect, and trust, and have had a positive and stable trend. He stated: The historical, cultural, and civilizational commonalities, as well as the joint will of the leaders of the two countries, have provided suitable grounds for developing and deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The President, pointing out that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as two important and influential countries in the region, possess shared capacities and responsibilities to strengthen regional peace, stability, and security, expressed hope that by utilizing existing capacities and the planning and efforts of the officials of the two countries, we will witness the further expansion of cooperation and the consolidation of friendly mutual relations in the near future.

Dr. Pezeshkian also in this message prayed to God Almighty for the health, success, welfare, and prosperity of the President and the people of Kazakhstan.
