Tehran - BORNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Maj. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei said the United States must fully address and implement Iran's seven conditions before the Strait of Hormuz can be reopened, describing Washington's response to Tehran's demands as insufficient.

According to a statement attributed to Rezaei by Middle East Spectator, Iran has reviewed the latest US proposal conveyed through Qatar.

“We have reviewed the latest US proposal conveyed through Qatar. America's response to the demands of the Iranian nation was insufficient,” Rezaei said.

He stressed that Washington must explicitly address all seven conditions set by Tehran and take concrete steps to fulfill them.

“They must fully and explicitly address Iran's seven conditions and act upon them. Only in this case will the Strait of Hormuz be reopened,” he stated.
