Pezeshkian, Pashinyan Hold Bilateral Talks in Yerevan
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held bilateral talks in Yerevan on Tuesday morning, following an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace of Armenia.
Tehran - BORNA - The meeting began with an official session and continued privately after 20 minutes, lasting for around one and a half hours.
President Pezeshkian arrived in Yerevan on Monday, August 18, at the official invitation of Prime Minister Pashinyan for a bilateral state visit. He was welcomed at the airport by Armenia’s deputy prime ministers and foreign minister.
During this visit, several cooperation documents are expected to be signed between officials of the two countries.
At the welcoming ceremony, the national anthems of both Iran and Armenia were played, after which the two leaders introduced members of their high-ranking delegations to one another.
