Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart that Moscow and Tehran remain in constant contact on various international issues, including the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.

Tehran - BORNA - Putin made the remarks on Monday during a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China.

“We are always in contact on various aspects of the international agenda, including the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program,” Putin said.

He described relations between Tehran and Moscow as constructive and expanding, noting that the two countries have also increased coordination within the framework of the SCO.
