Larijani: U.S. Proposals Effectively Rule Out Negotiations
Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said Tuesday that the United States is advancing proposals it knows are unrealistic, such as missile restrictions, in order to block the path of negotiations while falsely accusing Tehran of refusing dialogue.

Tehran - BORNA - Larijani stressed that the path of negotiations with the United States is not closed. In a post on his personal account on the social media platform X, he wrote: “The Americans only talk about negotiations but never come to the table, while wrongly claiming that the Islamic Republic refuses dialogue. In reality, we are pursuing rational negotiations.”

The senior Iranian official emphasized that by raising issues they know are unattainable, such as restrictions on Iran’s missile program, Washington is effectively proposing a model designed to eliminate any possibility of genuine talks.
