Ulyanov, Grossi Hold Talks on Iran
Russia’s envoy to international organizations in Vienna and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) discussed developments concerning Iran’s nuclear dossier.
Tehran - BORNA - Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, announced on his X account Tuesday that he had met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
Ulyanov wrote that the two sides discussed the “alarming situation around the Iranian nuclear dossier” during their meeting.
The talks come as Western countries intensify their push to trigger the so-called “snapback” mechanism against Iran — a move strongly opposed by Russia and China, and rejected by Tehran as illegal and without any legal basis.
