Senior Indian Security Official, Larijani Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, held a phone call with Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor to India’s Prime Minister, to discuss strengthening economic, security, and defense ties as well as advancing the Chabahar project.

Tehran - BORNA - During the conversation, Doval congratulated Larijani on assuming his new responsibilities at a critical juncture and wished him success in his role.

Larijani, in turn, thanked Doval and outlined proposals to expand bilateral economic cooperation, enhance security and defense relations, and accelerate the development of the Chabahar port project. The two sides agreed to continue their discussions during Larijani’s upcoming visit to India.
