Ismail Haniyeh

President Masoud Pezeshkian has paid tribute to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on his martyrdom anniversary, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to the resistance amid the ongoing US-Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Iran's foreign ministry called the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran a huge crime and a gross violation of the principles and norms of international law, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Iran.
