A terrorist cell linked to hostile and terrorist groups and involved in plotting attacks against security forces has been identified and arrested in southeast Iran.

Three Iranian law enforcement officers and one civilian were martyred during an armed confrontation at a security checkpoint in Fahraj County, southeastern Iran, local authorities announced.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi says that Islamic Republic of Iran has always spearheaded the battle against terrorism.
