Araghchi to travel to China
The Iranian Foreign Minister will travel to China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) ministerial meeting.
Tehran - BORNA - Esmail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi to China.
According to Baghaei, the Iranian Foreign Minister will travel to China on Monday to attend the SCO ministerial meeting at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
In addition to attending the meeting of foreign ministers and explaining Iran's positions and views, the Foreign Minister will meet and talk with the Chinese Foreign Minister and a number of other foreign ministers participating in the meeting.
The main agenda of the meeting of foreign ministers is to coordinate and prepare for the SCO summit.
