Macron Alleges Russia Not Seeking Peace, Pledges Continued Pressure
Tehran - BORNA - Macron further elaborated in the post: "I firmly condemn last night's massive attacks on Ukraine, especially its energy and railway infrastructure. We must continue to exert pressure on Russia to force it to choose peace."
Referring to his future plans, the French President stated: "I will travel to London on Monday to meet with the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and the Chancellor of Germany to review the current situation and ongoing negotiations within the framework of U.S. mediation."
Emmanuel Macron added: "Ukraine can count on our unwavering support. This is the main goal of the efforts we have undertaken within our alliance. We will continue these efforts with the Americans to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, without which no strong and lasting peace will be possible, because what is at stake in Ukraine is the security of the whole of Europe as well."
