Iran declares three-day public mourning following riots
The Iranian government has declared a three-day public mourning to honor the efforts of martyrs who lost their lives in confronting armed terrorists in recent riots.
Tehran - BORNA - The cabinet of President Masoud Pezeshkian decided to declare a three-day mourning to mark the heroic resistance of the Iranian nation in the face of the American and Israeli conspiracies.
Issuing a statement, the Iranian government stressed that the Iranian nation experienced an ISIL-style violence during the recent riots which led to the killing of security and military personnel and ordinary civilians.
The government further called on the Iranian nation to attend the "National Resistance Rally" which is set to be held on Monday afternoon.
