Iranian envoy to France slams foreign intervention in recent Iran riots
Iran’s Ambassador to France Mohammad Aminnejad has blamed certain foreign leaders for being behind recent riots across Iran, condemning their “efforts for intervention in Iran’s domestic affairs”.

Tehran - BORNA - Speaking to France’s RTL Radio on Tuesday, Aminnejad said that the protests in Iran “were initially legal and acceptable in nature” so that President Masoud Pezeshkian and even Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei recognized the protesters’ demands and orders were issued to address their problems.

However, he said the protests went off track due to some external interference and guidance.

Statements by some foreign officials and media outlets about foreign elements accompanying the rioters and openly supporting the unrest indicate an attempt to interfere in Iran's internal affairs, the ambassador said, stressing that the Islamic Republic of Iran would not be indifferent to the security of its people.
