Iran, Oman Foreign Ministers Meet in Geneva
The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman met in Geneva within the framework of bilateral engagement and consultations on the latest developments related to negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Tehran - BORNA - Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Geneva early Monday at the head of a delegation comprising diplomats, nuclear specialists and economic experts.

Araghchi also met with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), as part of bilateral interactions and discussions on technical matters.

Addressing the current round of talks with the United States, Araghchi said, “I have come to Geneva with genuine initiatives aimed at reaching a fair and balanced agreement.”

“The only thing that is absolutely not on the agenda is surrender to threats,” the Iranian foreign minister added.

Oman, acting as a mediator between Tehran and Washington, is facilitating the new round of nuclear negotiations between the two sides.

Talks are scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the Omani Embassy in Geneva and will be conducted indirectly, focusing on the nuclear issue, addressing U.S. concerns, and the lifting of sanctions.
