Retired U.S. General: Trump Faces Worst Geopolitical Disaster in U.S. History

Tehran - BORNA - Steve Anderson, a retired U.S. Army general, said in an interview with MSNOW: “The president and his advisers are in the middle of the biggest geopolitical disaster in our country’s history. They have completely mismanaged this war.”

He further stressed that “even talking about deploying ground forces” to Iran would be an absolute disaster.

The retired American general also emphasized that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fights for “God and Islam” and will do whatever it can to defeat U.S. forces.

He added: “If we think that by capturing Khark Island we can reduce their revenues, that is completely ridiculous.”

Meanwhile, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, Commander of the Ground Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, recently said during a visit to the country’s borders that all enemy movements are being monitored and that forces are prepared for any scenario.

“Every inch of Iran’s geography is protected with vigilance and readiness by the fighters,” he said.

He added: “At every point along Iran’s borders, we are ready to confront the enemy face-to-face.”
